Introduction

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the apartmanybudejovice.cz website, the purposes for which we process it, the legal basis for doing so, to whom we may disclose it and what rights you have in connection with the processing.

Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter the “GDPR”) and with the applicable laws of the Czech Republic.

Controller and contact

The data controller is the operator of the apartmanybudejovice.cz website, operating under the brand Lets Go Family Apartment.

You can contact the controller at the address I. Olbrachta 910/34, 370 01 České Budějovice, Czech Republic, by e-mail at info@estom.cz, or by telephone at +420 724 308 779.

For any matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of your rights, you may reach us through any of the contact details listed above.

What data we process

We process only the data you provide to us yourself through the website contact form, together with technical data related to your visit to the website.

Through the contact form we process the following data: name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional), company name (optional), requested stay dates, number of persons and the text of your message.

In connection with the operation of the website and traffic measurement, technical data may also be processed, in particular your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you visit and data obtained through cookies (see the Cookies and analytics section).

Purpose and legal basis

We process the data from the contact form in order to handle your non-binding accommodation enquiry, that is, so that we can contact you, answer your question and arrange the details of a possible stay.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the GDPR.

We process technical and traffic data in order to ensure the functionality and security of the website and for statistical evaluation of its use. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the proper operation and improvement of the website, or your consent where such consent is required.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-ZDB3T4K96L), which uses cookies to collect anonymised statistical data about how visitors use the website. This data helps us understand traffic and improve the content.

Please note that the website currently does not have a cookie consent banner. Analytics cookies may therefore be set as soon as you visit the website.

You can refuse the use of cookies and traffic measurement at any time. In your browser settings you can block or delete cookies or request a warning before they are stored. To opt out of Google Analytics measurement across websites, you can install the official browser opt-out add-on (Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on), available on Google's website. Restricting cookies may affect some functions of the website.

Recipients and processors

We do not pass your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes. Access to the data is granted only to processors who provide the operation of the website and related services on our behalf, always under a contract and to the extent necessary.

Website hosting and the processing of submitted forms are provided by Netlify through the Netlify Forms service. The data you enter into the contact form is sent to and stored within this service.

For traffic measurement we use Google Analytics, operated by Google. To display the apartment's location, a Google Maps map, also operated by Google, is embedded on the website; loading it may result in the transfer of technical data to that service.

The website also contains a link to our external profile on Booking.com. By clicking such a link you leave our website and your data is governed by the privacy policy of the respective operator, over which we have no control.

Transfer outside the EU

Some of the service providers mentioned above (in particular Google and Netlify) are companies established outside the European Union, or may process data on servers located in third countries. In such cases personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

Any transfer to third countries takes place under the conditions laid down by the GDPR, in particular on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards ensuring an adequate level of protection of your personal data.

Retention period

We keep the data from the contact form only for the period strictly necessary to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter, so that we can respond to follow-up communication and document the proper handling of the request. After that the data is deleted, unless legal regulations entitle or oblige us to retain it for longer, or unless a contractual relationship arises that requires further processing.

Data obtained through analytics tools is retained for a period corresponding to the Google Analytics settings.

You may withdraw your consent to processing at any time; the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Your rights

In connection with the processing of personal data you have the following rights under the GDPR: the right of access to your personal data, the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten), the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw a consent that has been given.

You may exercise these rights through the contact details listed in the Controller and contact section. We will handle your request without undue delay within the statutory time limits.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes legal regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), based at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, website www.uoou.cz.
